Ditching decades of bachelorhood, the boyish if balding monarch announced Wednesday he will marry South African ex-swimming champion Charlene Wittstock. Albert’s betrothed has iconic shoes to fill, stepping into a role left vacant since the death of much-beloved Princess Grace in a car crash.

Calling Anca an overachiever might be the understatement of the new millennium. After all, she did break three national Romanian swimming records at age 12, receive an NCAA swimming scholarship despite not swimming for five full years prior, and just one year into her P&G career, was nominated for the OGMS Balkans Sorin Mustatea Award.
