okay today for swimming class i had to swim alot of laps each week and i get really tired. i need an efficient method that will allow me to swim faster during endurance without getting tired so easily. i usually do front crawl all the way and than back crawl all the way back. like last week i had to swim 34 laps i was like OMFG. what strokes do you usually do when doing endurance of that many laps?

I would like to know what is the most effective stroke to work all the body would it be front crawl?

I am size 14, bra size 36 D although my ribs show through my chest as I have a large skeletal frame, which I do not like to show.
I haveshoulderr length naturally curly brown hair and dark brown eyes.Whatt style ofswimsuite do you think could suit me.

Is swimming the best calorie burning exercise?
How many calories can be expected to be burnt from 10 lengths of
a) Breaststroke
b) Front crawl

Which is the best stroke to burn calories? Breaststroke or Front Crawl?

Thanks.

I’m not the ideal tall, broad shouldered, short legged swimmer but I’ve heard that even within swimming, different body shapes suit the different strokes.

I’m short (5’2), with smallish shoulders, bottom heavy with long arms and legs. Hypothetically, as I’m just working on my front crawl for now in order to join a masters club, what stroke would you say would be least of a battle for me, everything else being equal?

free style, frog style, butterfly… ?

When I was swimming today, I did breaststrokes nonstop for 45 minutes, the only problem is i dont really feel tired doing it, I could of done more for another hour. But I do know breaststroke is the easiest stroke for me to do for endurance swim. Just wondering If im burning any decent amount of calories.

front crawl is more tiring compared to others, but which one burns more calories?

I’ll be swimming at the pool for around 4 days a week.

Which swimming style(s) should I do that’s best for losing weight?

And for how long per day?
