okay today for swimming class i had to swim alot of laps each week and i get really tired. i need an efficient method that will allow me to swim faster during endurance without getting tired so easily. i usually do front crawl all the way and than back crawl all the way back. like last week i had to swim 34 laps i was like OMFG. what strokes do you usually do when doing endurance of that many laps?

Is it effective in loosing weight? If so how much? What is the most effective stroke to do? Eg. front crawl etc? And how many lengths of a swimming pool is a good amount? Thank you for help x

Hi! I can swim breastroke pretty well and both front crawl and back crawl so-so. If I get a swimming coach starting in August until November…do you think I can improve enough to do well and win on my high school’s swim team!?
I have no swimming experience except for several lessons and swimming for fun..
Thanks!

for a 17 year old male:
20 minutes intense swimming: front crawl, butterfly and breast stroke at fast speeds with quick breaks in between .
1 hour weightlifting: using medium weight free-weights, with some use of machines. press-ups and ab workout, with stretching done continuously throughout entire workout.
(I know i am too young to be lifting heavy weights, so i only lift light-medium ones)
to be repeated 3-4 times each week?

I want to be on the swim team next year but I don’t think I am very fast. I am planning to do freestyle and the front crawl technique.
How can I swim faster?
