Maddie Lee wins a blue ribbon for first place in the 50 yard Breast Stroke at the Hilltop Swim Meet on 3/6/10. It is the first blue ribbon she has won, and comes after only 5 months in competitive swimming. Along the way she swam her fasted time in this event by topping her previous Junior Olympic time by over a half a second. Congratulations Maddie!

The summer swim season is about to begin, and it’s time for prospective team members to register. Families are welcome to check out the Salt Spring Stingrays swim team on Friday mornings at 8:30 a.m. at Rainbow Road Pool with registration taking place this month.
