To swim faster with better swim technique is just knowing how to align your body correctly. Move your body in the best position to lessen the drag and raise your muscle power. Your body have to be straight and maybe longer to be parallel to the surface of the water as you swim. Your eyes should be looking down at the water or sideways as you breathe but never frontward. You will tend to loose your position and your alignment in the water if you look forward. The top of your head should always be towards your destination. Train your positioning to improve your alignment in the water.

The next technique is grabbing. To transfer your muscle force from your body to the water, you should “catch” or “grab” the water. To make this happen, position your hand and arm first. Do not try to grab the water by using the hand only. You be likely to lose your grip. You can also try to use your hand and forearm. Try to visualize or think about reaching forward and down a wall as you swim and your elbow is at the edge of the wall. You finger tips should be pointed towards the bottom and your elbow up in the surface. Grab the water as if your whole arms are like a paddle.

The last thing to keep in mind is pressing. Using you power muscles, press on the water to attain faster movement. Think of your self grabbing the water ahead then press the water. You body will feel rising and falling as you press. Remember to make use of your muscles in your chest and back and not the other part of your body to press.

Finally, remember that techniques in swimming must be religiously practiced to improve your way of swimming.

There are various tips on conceiving a girl baby, some of which are based totally on heresay or dubious old wives tales. Others, however, do have some basis in scientific fact and although there is no one way to 100% guarantee conceiving a girl, there are certain tips which would seem to improve the odds.

Some tips on conceiving a girl include taking into account ph conditions naturally present in the vagina. The entrance of the vagina is naturally acidic and favors female sperm over male. It therefore makes sense to have shallower intercourse which deposits sperm nearer to the entrance of the vagina. This area is slightly more hostile to male sperm but supportive of female sperm. The missionary position is ideal for this. Deeper intercourse which deposits sperm next to the cervix is thought to favor male sperm which can then quickly swim towards the ovum.

In addition, they can survive for longer periods than male sperm. So, using this knowledge to your advantage when attempting to conceive a girl baby could be beneficial. Having intercourse around 3 days before ovulation and then abstaining, could result in the longer-lasting female sperm being ready and waiting to fertilize the egg when it is released, by which time the male sperm are likely to have perished. To do this successfully, you need to be aware of when you are ovulating and as you need to be having intercourse before ovulation, tests which simply pinpoint ovulation are of no benefit as you need to be aware of when you are <i>likely</i> to ovulate. This means that if you are not already familiar with your monthly cycle, it would be worth charting your menstrual cycles for 3 months prior to conceiving and using ovulation kits to pinpoint the times.

Other tips on conceiving a girl include dietary information and advice. For example, eating a higher calorie, protein rich diet which is rich in potassium is thought to increase your chances of conceiving a boy, whereas a diet which sticks to no more than the recommended calorie intake for your height which is rich in beans, pulses and leafy green vegetables plus other magnesium rich foods is more supportive of having a girl.

A quick internet search will reveal many natural ways to conceive a girl. However, using these in isolation may not give the baby girl you would love to have. However, a systematic approach which combines all possible tried and tested ways will give you the best chance. When swimming the front crawl or otherwise the freestyle, you need to be aware of the position of your body and the use of your arms. There is a correct method of putting your arms into use to pull your self through the water.

You want to keep your body in a straight line that would run down the center from your neck through the chest. This would be the line of pivot for your upper body. That line should be pointing to where you are swimming.

You must keep your hands flat with fingers together at all times. When doing the arm stroke your hand will be entering the water finger tips first. While pulling with this hand it should travel down to your waist along the center of your body with elbow bent. When you pull the arm out of the water, do so elbow first.

When you bring the hand out of the water, do so just enough to clear the finger tips of the surface of the water and move the hand forward just above the surface. Reach out with your arm and again enter finger tips first. Of course you would be alternating each arm in this manner.

You should be rotating your shoulders as you stroke, just enough to be natural or just for the shoulder to clear the water. There was a time when it was taught to keep the shoulders flat in the water until the Australians dominated one Olympics by swimming with rotating shoulders. After that everyone started the shoulder rotation.
